Hi there. My name is Marc. I started this website because my interest in the outdoors and learning more about popup camping. I am a FF/Paramedic with the City of Des Moines. I also am a coach for Chows Gymnastics in West Des Moines. Before I took on the Fire Fighter career, I worked in Information Technolgy for several companies over a span of 12 years.
A couple of them include Union Pacific RR and Accenture. I worked in several aspects of IT, but I enjoyed Storage Engineering the most, and made this my specialty. I also currently do a lot of side jobs that deal with computers. The majority deals with desktop and notebook diagnosis. There is a large need for recovery of pictures and data when a person's computer crashes, and I enjoy the challenge of making this happen. If you ever need any help then let me know. I usually just charge a flat rate so people know how much it will cost BEFORE the work is done.
On a personal level, I have been married for 10 years and have a wonderful family that includes two beautiful little girls. I am truly blessed. I live in West Des Moines, but am originally from Omaha, NE. I graduated from the University of Nebraska.
